It’s a quaint little town in Rajasthan nestled amid majestic Aravalli hills and the wall around the town with four gateways looks fantastic and watchable citation. In Rajasthan, Bundi region is known for elegant architectural styles. And the evidence for the architectural styles of Bundi is exquisite palaces, forts, step wells, and many old temples etc a lot.
1. Taragarh Fort: Bundi
Taragarh Fort in Bundi region is one of the oldest forts in Rajasthan and this historic architect wonder was built in the 14 century. This fort was laid on a hilltop with stunning and mind-blowing Rajput architectural styles. Mainly the beautiful mural paintings of Taragarh Fort are the best-known architectural styles in Bundi.
And the main attractions of the fort you shouldn’t miss are the huge water reservoir tanks, the wall of the fort surrounding the town as guard line, and the Bhim Burj which is a stand of the cannon etc. However, Taragarh Fort attractions depict the erstwhile Rajput king’s royalty and grandeur.

Inside this Palace, you can capture numerous captivating palaces known for beautiful architectural styles.
The most preferable palace of Garh Palace is “Chitrashala”. The beautiful pavilion and a miniature painting gallery of Chitrashala gained popularity as the major attraction of Garh Palace. And jharokhas, pillars, decorations, etc. of Garh Palace seeks everyone attention towards it.
7. Moti Mahal: Bundi
Moti Mahal is another beautiful Palace with the backdrop of greenery Aravalli hills and Nagal Sagar Lake. The interiors of the Palace makes everyone astonish with its intricate and marvelous designs. Ceilings and the interiors of this Palace are allured with splendid mirror work. 8. Nawal Sagar Lake: Bundi
Nawal Sagar Lake, a wonderful man-made creation in Bundi. Beautiful baoris around the lake and an architect marvel temple in the middle of Lake attracts everyone attention to visit this place. A temple dedicated to Lord Varuna is the major attraction of this lake. Every day a large number of people visits this temple.
The main reason for building this lake is to supply water to surrounding baoris (step wells) during water scarcity. Reflections of vicinity forts and palaces on the waters of this lake is a scenic attraction to take a snap. A boat trip to the temple in the middle lake is a memorable moment in Bundi.
9. 84-Pillared Cenotaph: Bundi
Pillared Cenotaph is an architectural marvel of Bundi with beautiful artistic figures on Cenotaph. Actually, this Cenotaph was built by Rao Raja Anirudh in memory of his nurse who nursed him from child to young. This architect marvel was two-stored building with 84 pillars in an Umbrella carved shape.
It’s highly possible to count these 84 pillars at a time. The major attraction of this cenotaph is the marble Shiv Lingam. The artistic figures of nymphs and animals on the cenotaph depicts the beautiful architectural styles of Bundi artisans.
10. Phool Sagar: Bundi
Phool Sagar is a ruined place in Bundi and also not a popular destination. But the medieval architectural styles of Rajputana and the green gardens of Phool Sagar are the key attractions. Mostly, in the months of November to February, this place will be crowded with people. Because during this time migratory birds visit this place. For history buffs and nature seekers, this place is the best one to see in Bundi.
